Volcanic Slopes Vineyards
Volcanic Slopes Vineyards winery’s history goes back to the 18th century, as it was originally established as a “canava”. “Canava” in the local dialect of Santorini describes the place where the wine was made and stored. Our building was a traditional underground canava that was renovated in 2013, in order to host the VSV winery and our wine Pure.

Vassaltis Vineyards
Vassaltis is the latest addition to Santorini’s long, storied winemaking history. Owner Yannis Valambous’ passion for wine drew him back to the island of Santorini, where he spent many a happy family holiday as a child. In the wake of the 2010 Greek financial crisis, a plan took root in his mind, a plan that was part dream, part folly. Yannis sought to breathe new life into the vineyards he inherited from his father.

Estate Argyros has been established in 1903, but the Argyros family has been involved in wine production for decades before that. Since the beginning, there has been a focus on both wine making and vine growing, through a deep understanding that great grapes are always a prerequisite for great wines. Hatzidakis Winery
In 1996, Konstantina Chryssou showed to Haridimos Hatzidakis the vineyard of her family. This vineyard is located at the village of Pyrgos Kallistis, on the way to the monastery of “Profiti Ilias-Santorini”. It is situated 330 meters above sea level. The vineyard was abandoned for many years, as Konstantina’s parents, George and Aikaterini Chryssou had left the island because of the earthquake in 1956 and had moved to Athens as many locals did at that time. Until 1996, the vineyard remained uncultivated. Haridimos was the first who took the decision to re-cultivate the vineyard and the rest is history. The vineyard was cultivated with Aidani which is an organic grape variety.

Venetsanos Winery
Venetsanos winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. The Venetsanos family has a very long tradition of producing wine. Originally was produced for the island and subsequently, it was exported extensively, and particularly to countries such as Russia. It was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited. The winery was built in an unconventional manner constructed from above and moving downwards.
