Everyone goes to Oia for the sunset. These four viewpoints show you a completely different Santorini.
Skaros Rock in Imerovigli puts you on a bare volcanic promontory with a 270° caldera arc and nobody around you. Pyrgos castle hands you the only true 360° panorama on the island, with vineyards, caldera, and open Aegean all in the same frame. The Fira-to-Oia cliff path is best started at dawn, when the light is on the water and the trail is yours. And the Akrotiri lighthouse, at the island's southern tip, faces open sea on three sides with the last of the day's light dropping straight into the Aegean.
All four are publicly accessible, all are free, and every one of them is a genuine alternative to the crowds. Full access details, routes from Fira, and November crowd notes are on the slides.
